In the field of Pharmacy education, the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree is an undergraduate degree course. Those interested in pursuing a career in the medical field (except to become a doctor) can choose this course after completion of their 12th grade (PCM/B). The students who complete this degree are qualified to become Pharmacists. In addition to prescribing, manufacturing, and providing medicines, pharmacists also work in related industries. The program lasts four years.
Among science students after class 12th, B.Pharm is a popular career-oriented course. This course covers a variety of topics, such as drugs and medicines, pharmaceutical engineering, medicinal chemistry, etc. A large number of job opportunities are available in both the public and private sectors after completing this course.
Eligibility:
The following criteria must be met by students who want to enrol in B.Pharma:
- A student must have passed the 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in order to qualify for admission to the Pharmacy program.
- A minimum score of 50% is required to pass the qualifying examination.
- In addition, students who have completed the three-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are eligible to apply.

The Cambridge application procedure offers the ability to analyse each candidate separately. Moreover, each college is able to amend proposals to keep track of its unique cases. There are likely to be fewer difficult proposals for some candidates than those listed in the program listing documents, and some may need special attention in certain areas.
Admission
Students who wish to study Pharmacy must complete a 10+2 education and take an entrance exam at the national level or state level to be considered for admission. National entrance exams are Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) and Board of Pharmacy Entrance Exams (BPEE). According to the eligibility criteria of the exams, you may also apply for state level exams such as AP EAMCET 2019, TS EAMCET 2019, WBJEE 2019, etc.
For admission to graduate and postgraduate Pharmacy courses, various exams are conducted by private and public universities.
