Pharmacists are medical professionals who use their knowledge to improve people’s wellbeing in general and promote healthcare in particular. They ensure that a drug is safe to use, prepare prescriptions, work in a pharmacy, check the dose, and so much more with their knowledge. To become a pharmacist, a student must enrol in one of the several pharmacy programmes offered in India. Because of the large range of employment opportunities and salaries available in each discipline, pharmacy degrees have become increasingly popular among science students in recent years.

Apart from the aforementioned exams offered by the state or federal governments, several colleges and institutions conduct their own admissions tests.
Scope of Studying Pharmacy
Pharmaceutical science offers a wide range of opportunities. Some of them are listed below.:
- 1. Research and development— A B.Pharm degree is required for the discovery of novel medications, toxicology, formulation, and clinical testing.
- 2. Analysis and testing— Pharmacy graduates are always needed in biotechnological goods, surgical dressings, medical devices, equipment, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, and Unani medicines, and veterinary medicine.
- 3. Production and manufacturing— Drug manufacturing is the process through which pharmaceutical companies mass-produce prescription drugs. The process of making pharmaceuticals can be broken down into a variety of sub-processes. Milling, granulation, encapsulation, and tablet pressing are all possible procedures.
- 4. Regulatory bodies— Drug Inspectors, Assistant Drug Controllers, State Drug Controllers, and D.C. I. are all positions that can be filled.
